The laser and IPL (Intense plus Light) is an advanced level 4 qualification course specially designed for the beauty therapist who would like to become a qualified laser aesthetic technician.
Overview
The NVQ level 4 Laser IPL training will help you to develop all the skills required to perform laser hair removal treatments and skin rejuvenation to in high standard. There will be 4 students in the class which will help to keep attention in each student effectively. You will also learn to develop managing safe working practices and the basic health and safety precautions for operating laser technology in the salon.
In the laser and IPL hair removal unit, our training will cover skills to analyse the hair and skin type, identify treatment contradiction, risks and formulate a specific course of the treatment plan to suit individual needs.
In the skin rejuvenating unit, we will teach you how to use laser/ IPL to treat the following skin conditions: Fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, sun spots and freckles, the sun damaged skin, Acne breakouts, pigmentation marks.
After the successful completion of this course, you will reach a very high level of competence at performing laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation using lasers and intense pulse light(IPL).
You will gain understanding Practical and Theory Knowledge in the following:

Laser and light treatments for hair removal.

Laser and light treatment for skin rejuvenation

Clients and care and communication in beauty related industry.

Management of health safety and security in the salon.
How will I be assessed?
There will be no traditional assessment. You will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence, performs practical and review a case study. A portfolio will confirm your knowledge, understanding and skills that you have learned.
Attendance / Price
Total 7 weeks and one day a week for £2,500.00 (Cost for Class training days)
COVID-19 ONLINE TRAINING for £1,000.00
A non- refundable deposit cost of £500.00 once paid, will cover your registration cost and secure your placement at our Academy.
The remaining balance of £500.00 is to be paid a week before your first session begins or finance options are made available upon request- This can be discussed with the course coordinator via email: info@bfacademy.co.uk
All prices are inclusive of mandatory course materials, awarding body registration & exam fees.
